Born 1717 son of Charles Bisset, lawyer, Dunkeld.

Career

Studied medicine at Edinburgh.. [Medical student]

Became a surgeon in the army, but mainly devoted himself to military engineering. Returned to medical practice in civilian life at Skelton, Yorks. [Skelton, Yorkshire]and then removed to Knayton. [Doctor]

Published on fortifications and medical subjects.
