Schoolmaster. Married in Edinburgh 1810. Emigrated to Nova Scotia 1811. Taught at Kings College, Windsor N.S. [King's College, Windsor, Nova Scotia] 1811 - 1818 and was pastor of a Presbyterian church there. Master Grammar School, St Andrews, New Brunswick 1818 -1836 (resigned). Presbyterian minister New Brunswick 1839 to death [1839-18.7.1850]. [Teacher, minister]

[Afterwards used surname Cassilis.]


Died 18.7.1850 at Bocabec, St Patricks, New Brunswick [Canada].
