Born c. 1865 son of William McKay, crofter, Strathy, Sutherland and Jane Robertson.

Minister Gareloch Free Church 1893-1900. Inverness 1900-1918. Professor of New Testament Free Church College, Edinburgh 1919-1935 (retired). [University professor]

Publications. Lived in retirement at Free Church Manse, Kinglassie.

Death

Died 6.5.1939 aged 88.
