Studied medicine at Edinburgh University - M.D. 1783. [Medical student]

Physician at Bath. Went to Paris. Taken prisoner by the French, but escaped as an American citizen. Assumed name of Robertson. Succeeded to Ballindean. [Doctor, Landowner]
