Career

Teacher Dromore 1833-1838. Downpatrick 1838-1840. Belfast Academical Institution 1840-1844. Then private teacher Glasgow 1844. Came to Cupar c. 1853 as sub-editor Fifeshire Journal then became editor and proprietor 1854-1862. Jailed for 5 years for forgery in 1862. Released 1866. [Forger]
