Born 4.4.1825 son of John Argyll Robertson, President of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh [R.C.S.E.] and Anne Lockhart. [Doctor]

Career

Studied Edinburgh then Oxford University - B.M. 1857 and Cambridge University - M.D. 1863.

Served in Army Medical Service then specialised in the treatment of the insane. Worked in Oxford, London and Haywards Heath. Lord Chancellor’s visitor in lunacy 1870-1896. [Doctor]

Edited Journal of Mental Science. [Editor]

Death

Died at Exmouth 18.5.1897.
