Born 9.6.1813 3rd son of James Moffat in Collieston and [ ] Barbour.

Career

Studied Edinburgh, but apparently not at Edinburgh University.

Assistant to [ ] Probart, surgeon at Hawarden to whose practice he succeeded. Practised at Hawarden for 45 years. [Surgeon, doctor]

Publications on geology, meteorology and sanitation.

Death

Died 16.7.1882.
