Licensed by U.P. presbytery Lochee [United Presbyterian presbytery Lochee], but never held a charge. Worked in jute works before coming to St Andrews as a student. Chaplain Dundee East Poorhouse, but soon devoted himself entirely to private teaching. [Minister, teacher]

Death

Died 31.10.1902 aged 74.
