Born c.1763. A descendant of the Border family of Hall of Newbiggin and great grandson of Henry Hall of Haughhead, the Covenanter. Possibly born Jedburgh.

Assistant surgeon Army Medical Service, staff 1814. Surgeon staff 1816. Retired on half pay 1817. [Doctor]
Death
Died at Chelsea March, 1824.
