Born c. 1851 son of Octavius Jacob Guerard, Charlestown, South Carolina.

Career

Also at Heidelberg University - A.B. & M.S. and University and Bellevue Medical College, New York - M.D.

Settled at Flat Rock, North Carolina then practised New York. In 1895 his family were staying at Flat Rock where he tried to run a hotel and a girls’ school. He went to New York to practise in 1915. Living at Leisburg, Virginia in 1937 when he was 87. [Doctor]

Lived to be 92 or 94.
