Birth/childhood
Born c. 1838 son of James Gray, merchant, Dundee.
Career
Two statements about him may both be true - That he was a teacher in West End Academy, Dundee and that he was ordained as a missionary in the U.P. Church [United Presbyterian Church] and was appointed to Rajputana, but he had scarcely reached the country [India] when he died.
He disappears from the General Council Register after 1868-1869.
Death
