Studied Edinburgh University - arts student 1847-1848, medical student 1848-1851, 1853-1854 (convicted of intoxication and irregular habits 1851).

Practised Penicuik and Dunfermline. Lost practice and removed to Peebleshire Poorhouse on 25.7.1885. [Doctor]
