schoolmaster at Largoward 1837. Probably also the James Douglas who was schoolmaster Kemback 1848 -1849. [Teacher]

L.R.C.S.E. 1870. Parochial medical officer Fetlar and North Yell. [Doctor]

Minister St Andrews Church, Peterborough, Canada 1858 - 1864 (resigned). Missionary Presbytery of Toronto 1864 -1867. Minister Birsay 1870 - 1877. North Yell 1877 - 18.6.1884 (died).
