Born 16.11.1861 son of John Caseby/[Cassmay], farmer Orwell and Janet Robin.

Career

Said not to have completed course because of failure of father’s farm - became a shoemaker in Edinburgh, then Lundin Links and Balmullo. Became a postman when hand shoemaking became unprofitable. Father of Rev. Alexander Caseby.

Death

Died Balmullo 16.7.1940.
