Born 19.10.1837 at Mazagor [possibly Mazagaon], India son of George Candy, Captain H.E.I.C.S. [Honourable East India Company's Service] and Susan Douglas (illegitimate daughter of 7th Marquess of Queensberry). [Soldier]

Studied Guy’s hospital.

M.R.C.S.Eng. 1859. L.A.C. 1859.

Assistant surgeon Army Medical Service 1864. Retired with honorary rank of Brigade Surgeon 1885. [Soldier]

Death

Died at Torquay 23.1.1895.
