Born 7.3.1778 eldest son of George Campbell, minister at Cupar and Magdalene Hallyburton.

Trained for medical profession - apprentice to Dr Govan, Cupar. Assistant surgeon Indian Medical Service Bengal 1799. Surgeon 1813. Retired 1820. Knighted 1832. [Doctor]

Death

Died 20.5.1854 at Edenwood, near Cupar.
