Career

Five years apprentice to Dr Watt, late of Glasgow; two years house surgeon Paisley dispensary then (1805) assistant to J. Law, surgeon, Edinburgh for over 12 months. Afterwards tool surgeon’s diploma R.C.S.E. and spent some time in North America. Has been since in extensive practice in the West Indies till his return to this country last year. [Doctor]
