Perhaps = James Brodie Brichan baptised 8.10.1809 son of David Brichan, minister at Dyke and Moy and Anne Allan.

Licentiate of the Church of Scotland. Became an indefatigable antiquary and assisted Cosmo Innes in compiling Origines Parochiales Scotiae. [Minister]
