Birth/childhood
Born 10.12.1758 (nephew of John Barclay [United College 1750-[?]]) son of Ludovic Barclay, farmer, Strageath, Muthill and Margaret McIlwhannel.
Career
Also at Edinburgh University - M.D. 1796.
Became established as an anatomy teacher in Edinburgh in 1797. In 1804 his lectures were formally recognised by R.C.S.E. [University lecturer]
