From Moscow. Came to Edinburgh in 1780 - medical student 1782-1786. Joined Medical Society and Natural History Society in Edinburgh and read papers.

M.D. Edin. [Edinburgh] 1786 F.R.C.P.E. 1787. [Doctor]

Seems not to have followed a medical career on his return to Russia in October, 1787.
