Medical Sub. Asst. [Medical Sub-Assistant] Ceylon [now Sri Lanka] 1838 - 1853. Colonial surgeon 1858 - 1880. Member, Legislative Council, Ceylon [now Sri Lanka] 1883 - 1890. Decorated for services to colony - C.M.G. [Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George]. [Doctor]

Death

Died Galle, Ceylon [now Sri Lanka] 12.6.1903.
