Born 15.11.1839 son of Samuel Anderson, W.S. [Writer to the Signet] and wine merchant, London and Charlotte Wilkinson. [Lawyer]

Career

Also at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich. Served with Royal Engineers. Carried out survey work in North America to 1862. In Palestine 1865 -1866. Did boundary survey work in Canada - his memory is perpetuated in Anderson Peak in the Rockies. [Soldier] [Surveyor]
