The king's bedroom. Sober, simple accommodation. From his bedroom, the king could command a view of the high altar.
The King's Quarters
Where the lines meet is the king's bed. From there, Philip could see out through the windows of the antechamber, and also to the altar in the Basilica, without being seen himself.
