Lorenzo Rodríguez

Lifespan: (1810 – 1853)

Biography

Lorenzo Rodríguez (1810?-1857) was a soldier born in Sonora. He served in the National Guard from 1853. He was a liberal and acted as district prefect of Altar and captain of the National Guard. When Henry A. Crabb launched his filibustering attack in 1857, Rodríguez sent in soldiers and fought in Caborca, Sonora, where he was wounded days later. His life ended in 1857.
