Biography

Francisco Quintero (1805-1872) was a soldier born in the city of Puebla. He was an infantry cadet in 1821. In 1823 he was a co-author of the Plan de Casa Mata. He took part in various civil movements. In 1840 he was already a colonel and was put on trial. In September 1843, he fought in the War of the Reform and against the French Intervention. He died in Mexico City.
