Francisco Orrantia

Lifespan: (1770 – 1840)

Biography

Francisco Orrantia (I770?-1840?) was governor of the Western State Sinaloa -Sonora. He was born in the city of Alamos, Sonora. Orrantia was elected deputy of the local legislature of the Western State Sonora-Sinaloa in 1824. In 1827 he was in charge of executive power of this area with a license granted by the Governor Francisco Iriarte. He died in Alamos, Sonora.
