Biography

Juan José Landero (1802-1869) was a soldier who was born in Veracruz. He attained the rank of general in 1842. Landero fought against the U.S. Intervention (1846-48), with the liberals during the War of Reform (1858-61) and against the French Intervention (1862-67).
