Allan Paip was listed as a Scottish burgess in Danzig in 1689, with two sons. He had to pay 3000 "gulden" for the privilege. They also supplied 20 daler to Robert Gordon in Warsaw when he was collecting for the restoration fund of Marischal college in Aberdeen. He was probably related to G. Paip [SSNE 7068]T.
