John Ramsay is known to us thanks to a record left to us by his mother-in-law, Hedwig Kulbacz (primo voto Cebulina), a citizeness of Sandomierz. In July 1592, Hedwig declared that she owes the debt of 127 florins to John Ramza (Ramsay), a merchant and citizen of Sandomierz and her son-in-law, as well as to her daughter and his wife Hedwig. For this reason, she had leased a downtown building lot and a house to them.
