Richard Corbett was an English officer in the first regiment of the Anglo-Dutch Brigade. He served at Juliers-Cleves in 1614 and was a captain in Colonel Cecil's regiment in 1622. 

 

He then held the following ranks:

Sergeant-major: 20 November 1636-18 May 1639

Lieutenant-colonel: 18 May 1639-4 January 1648
