Sergeant-Major John Edmonstone was a Scottish officer in Dutch service in the 1570s. He appears in the pay lists of Holland for 1573-1574 and 1575-1577. It is possible he was related to Captain William Edmonstone [SSNE 8134], who served at the same time as Captain John.
