Robert Munro was a Scottish officer in Danish-Norwegian military service from 1657-9. He is probably the same as Robert Munro listed in Hirsch VII, vol.3 where he is noted as a reformed ensign in Hans Shack's regiment in 1659. Monro took part in the Fyn campaign. He was Godfather to Lieutenant Georg von Eskin's child. Monro was promoted during the siege of Copenhagen.
