ROBERTS, PHILIP [SSNE 8094]
Text source
Robert Philips served as a soldier in the Anglo-Dutch Brigade. On 10 March 1640 he and his wife, Anneken French [SSNE 8095] (also English) baptised their child in Bergen-op-Zoom in the Dutch Reformed Church. Given the location and date this probably places him under the command of Sir Charles Morgan [SSNE 89]. He is certainly noted as being in the company of Captain Huntly [SSNE 8096].
