REYNIERSZ, STEVEN [SSNE 8031]
Text source
Steven Reyniersz was a sailor from Arbroath serving in the Dutch Republic in 1625. He was employed on the Saint Peter under skipper Peter Veen van Delfshaven. He named Lyntgen Stevensdr (his fiancé) his heir, as long as 6 guilders went to his brothers and sisters in England.
Reyniersz's name reappears in a 1628 will. He was in Naerburg and intended to sail to the West Indies on the Walcheren under skipper Jan Mast of Middelburch. He named his landlady, Lysbet Jacobsdr, his heir.
Whether these two wills deal with the same man is a mystery.
