Patricius Abircrombæus matriculated at the Seminary of Braunsberg in the diocese of Ermland (Warmia) on 6 August 1596. He was blamed for some ill-speaking, and so fled in secret on 5 May 1601. He eventually returned, repented and became a Jesuit priest. He died in Poltava in 1611.
