David Denneiss was a Scottish merchant living in Birrica in Norway in 1654.

National Archives of Scotland, CC8/8/67. Will of David Denneiss, 23 May 1654, "merchant at Birrica in Norway". This is possibly a Scottish rendition of Birka, but a corruption of Birrin (Scots for Bergen) is more likely.
