Robert Williamson jr was the son of Robert Williamson [SSNE 6726] and his second wife Catharina Alhed Muhlenphort. Robert jr was born in Norway in 1710. His father who had migrated to Norway circa 1690 was either from Montrose (according to Williamsen) or from Bo'ness (according to Dobson). Robert jr inherited 264 riksdaler and 4/5 s. on his father's death in 1716, as did his brother and sister and his half-brother. Robert jr. married Clara Grue (1712-1764) on 2 November 1735
