Pieter Pieterson Dundas arrived with his sister Maria [SSNE 6707] in Bergen in Norway by a ship from Dundee around 1630. Pieter became a merchant of Bergen in April 1635 under the name Peiter Pittersen. He married and had five children, one of whom was the famous cleric and poet Petter Dass [SSNE 6705]. Another one of his children, Pernille Pedersdatter Dass [SSNE 6729], married Peter Albertsen and lived on farm 129 in Trondheim (farm Peter Ritbahr) with her husband. Pieter traded extensively between Bergen and northern Norway, usually in fish..
