Albert Innes (1619-1658) was a Catholic Priest born in Poland-Lithuania of Scottish parents. He completed his studies in 1640 after which he lectured in Sandomierz and Lublin. After lecturing he became a preacher in Jaroslaw and finally in Cracow. In addition to his scholarly works he also wrote poetry, which often satirically addressed contemporary events in Poland and Great Britain [note, Bieganska states England].
