Text source

Johan Kinnaird served Sweden's interests in Bremen between 1658-1676. He began as a company secretary (Kammarskrivare) and then took over the role of master of supplies (Proviantmästare). Kinnaird died in Gothenburg in June 1679. He may have been the father of the soldier Dirdrik Kinnaird (fl.1672-1719) [SSNE 4132] who was born in Bremen Stift, probably at Stade in 1672.
