Elisabeth Kinnaird was born in Gothenburg on 8 May 1625. She was the daughter of James Kinnaird [SSNE 1124] and his wife Elisabeth Wedderburn [SSNE 6119]. She had two sisters, Johanna [SSNE 2711] and Barbara [SSNE 6880], as well as a brother Alexander [SSNE 2824] (?). She married Cornelius Braun who was a church representative and councillor on 9 October 1653 in Christina church in Gothenburg. Elisabeth was also a godparent to Albert Hunter's [SSNE 6958] daughter in 1659. She died on 30 August 1675 of a fever at the age of 50.
