In 1690 Carl Leijoncrona received a letter from one George Porteous dated Edinburgh 29 April. It is a covering letter asking Leijoncrona to deliver another letter to "dominus Porteus", Johan Porteous [SSNE 4925], the Swedish Secretary of Trade who was in Britain in 1689-1690. It probably had something to do with Johan's birthbrieve which he sought at that time
