Sigfred Preston is noted as a captain of horse in Swedish service between 1569-1573. This is probably the same as Sigrid Preston mentioned in 1567 as someone King Erik XIV wanted to help bring Iceland under Swedish control as noted in letters from March 26 and 28 that year
