In 1670 William Fraser returned to Scotland from Poland. He had travelled there in 1656 with Lord Cranston's levy, under Captain James Fraser as an ensign in Swedish service. Once the Swedes made peace with Poland William Fraser settled at Torn in Poland, married and became a merchantA.F.
