David Strachan, a goldsmith, provided a birthbrieve dated Dundee 1 August 1621, took the oath, paid 6 florins to the public Treasury and became a citizen of Cracow. There is no date for this but it was possibly in 1622. In 1631 he suffered an attack at the hands of Polish mob due to the fact that he was a dissenterA.F.
