Thomas Scott was employed as preacher in Gorcum, Utrecht and to some British troops. At his introduction to Utrecht he was presented by Thomas Barkeley, Preacher to the English Church in Rotterdam, Andrew Hunter [SSNE 4954], Chaplain to the Scottish Regiments and Walter Whitestone, preacher to the regiment of Viscount Leslie. Scot was murdered four years later by a soldier from the regiment of Viscount Wimbledon.
