Walter Strickland was an English Parliamentary agent in the Dutch Republic between 1642 and 1648; He is listed as receiving authorisation as ambassador to King Chrisitian IV in 1646. He was married to Anna Morgan, the daughter of the Welsh general Sir Charles Morgan. It may even have been she who undertook his mission to the Dutch Republic in 1651DNB; G.M.
