Louis Montgomery was presumably related to Jean/John Montgomery [SSNE 403]. His men were to take the oath on the colour in September 1627, and effected the surrender of Rendsburg by 1/10/1627. Louis obliged himself to levy 3500 men French infantry and to muster them in the Sound Region March 1628
