William Walsh was a Scottish officer in the Swedish army. According to the index cards at krigsarkivet He is said to have served as the regimental doctor for George Crawford's [SSNE 2086] regiment in 1630. However this reference has been checked and that does not equate to a regiment of Crawford's so his exact position is uncertain
