William Leslie served first in the regiment of John Hamilton. This regiment was taken over by Ludovick Leslie [SSNE 396] and served at the battle of Lutzen. Leslie became a reformed lieutenant in Peter Murray's troop in 1635. He was a reformed lieutenant in Alexander Gordon's [SSNE 2499]dragoon regiment in 1634-5Swedish Krigsarkiv, Muster Roll, 1632/31 Probably the same as William Leslie listed at, Muster Roll, 1635/2,29-31; 1634/26.
